Meet Your Manager, Gerry Moreno

Gerry has more than 25 years of retail experience and over 16 years of leadership across two of the largest retailers, Walmart and Target. Throughout his career, Gerry has had the opportunity to lead high volume operations, develop strong leadership teams, and build customer focused cultures centered around operational excellence and people development.

During his time with Walmart, Gerry lead complex supercenter facilities at Walmart impacting processes, shrink, and overall culture. Also in his tenure Gerry led the company’s highest sales volume Neighborhood Market location for 3 consecutive years while also supporting stores in West Texas within district. At Target, as a director, Gerry received multiple recognition awards for operational performance, team development, and driving results.

Gerry chose Micro Center because of his passion for technology and the company’s strong culture. Micro Center’s commitment to expertise, service, and innovation aligns perfectly with Gerry's retail leadership background and personal values. "I’m excited to help grow the Austin location while building a high performing team that delivers an exceptional customer experience."

Outside of work, Gerry enjoys watching sports, especially UFC, boxing, and wrestling. He spends his free time coaching youth wrestling, which allows him to mentor young athletes and stay involved in a sport he truly enjoys.

Gerry is married to his wife, Marisol, and together they have three children: Elissa, Joshua, and Mando, all in high school. His family also includes their shar-pei dog, Bella, who they jokingly say truly runs the household.
